Large or protruding ears can have a very negative effect on one's self esteem. Ear pinning or otoplasty is a procedure performed to change the shape and or size of one's ears. It is generally performed on adolesents between 6 and 15 years old to improve their appearance and their self-confidence but is performed on adults as well.
Otoplasty is performed by Dr. Elan Reisin and Dr. Jorge Reisin for patients from Washinton DC, suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia to set prominent ears back closer to the head or to reduce the size of large ears.
